Once again PhotoTravel, in its effort to make dreams come true, offers you a fantasy trip in which you can discover some of the most beautiful and exotic corners that Tanzania treasures. Join us to get to know one of the countries with some of the most authentic tribes in Africa, the largest wildlife in the wild and the most exotic beaches on the continent. A photographic paradise to explore. Living with the Hadzabe, sharing their ancestral way of life based on hunting and gathering, watching the Datoga blacksmiths work or being moved to the rhythm of the Maasai dances will be the proposal for the first part of our Tanzanian adventure. A photographic safari spotting wildlife in the Serengeti and Ngrongoro Natural Parks, coordinated by expert guides in the area and with the quality guarantee of PhotoTravel, make up the second of our highlights. And, finally, there is nothing like relaxing on one of the most paradisiacal islands on the planet, Zanzibar, where the turquoise color of the water merges with the blue of the sky, and where you will enjoy a few activities with which you can make the most of this jewel of nature.
International flight to Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Airport.
Night on board
After landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport and completing the entry formalities into the country, we will transfer to Tarangire National Park, our first contact with wildlife! … herds of elephants await us among the Baobabs.
Then at the end of the trade we head to Lake Manyara, where we will spend the night in a fantastic Tent Camp from which we will be able to see for the first time the wildlife of this exotic country.
Accommodation in Tent Camp, half board.
Today we will go to the surroundings of Lake Eyasi, where two days of coexistence with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes await us. An unrepeatable experience that is difficult to forget in a dreamlike natural environment. We will visit the Hadzabe, a Bushman people of hunters and gatherers whose culture dates back to 45000 years ago, at the dawn of Homo Sapiens. In the afternoon we will be next to the Datoga villages, a tribe recognized for its mastery in ironwork and for the facial scarifications of its women.
Overnight at Tent Camp, full board.
Photographic safari organized by PhotoTravel will take us to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a caldera of volcanic origin that in itself is a spectacle of nature. If we add to that the wildlife it houses, photographic success is assured. Now all that remains is to locate the Big Five so that the day is complete. We continue to the central Serengeti National Park where we spend the night.
Overnight at Tent Camp, full board.
The photographic safari begins. Early in the morning we will enjoy the Central Serengeti National Park, an immense plain where we can spot the wildlife of African fauna. After lunch we head to the Mara River, in the northern area, where we spend the night.
Overnight at Tent Camp, Full board. (picnic lunch).
We will get up early in search of the best lights with which to contemplate the spectacular sunrise. Do not miss the opportunity to photograph the activity of the newly awakened animals next to the Mara River and hopefully be able to experience the Great Migration. Night with the Maasai of the northern area.

Breakfast in our Boma Camp with spectacular views, we are in Masai territory and today we are going to Lake Natron where many activities await us that will surprise you!

After breakfast, check out and first thing in the morning we will go to meet the Maasai. We will visit a Masai “boma” (village), formed by a set of huts made of adobe and manure, surrounded by a circular enclosure of acacia full of thorns to prevent the attack of lions and other wild animals, and the departure of livestock. We will continue our way to Arusha. Tomorrow we will leave the continent from the airport of this city. Overnight in a hotel near the airport. Breakfast included.
Accommodation in Tent Camp, half board. (picnic lunch).
The second part of our adventure begins; relax on the idyllic and exotic beaches of Zanzibar. Early in the morning we will take the flight that will take us to one of the most beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean, where its white sand and crystal clear waters make this enclave a privileged place for lovers of the sea and la dolce far niente. Upon landing, from the airport we move to Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar, a colonial city full of colorful corners, ideal for practicing street photography. In the afternoon we will settle in our magnificent Hotel, in an area of exotic beaches, where we will rest among the palm trees, contemplating its beautiful sunset.

Today we are going to enjoy the sea, the sun and the fine white sand of Zanzibar. After breakfast we will go on an excursion to the Memba Atoll, where we dive on the corals of the Island. A walk on the beach or lying down to sunbathe, while tasting tropical fruits, will be the culmination for this morning. Time for lunch, we go to a restaurant to taste some of the local delicacies. After enjoying the afternoon on the beach we will return to our hotel. The sunset and a few beers in one of the local beach bars await us.

For today we have prepared an excursion that rises to the occasion: Safari Blue, Zanzibar’s most popular adventure, a whole day touring a large part of Menai Bay, located in the south of the island of Unguja. The tour starts early, when we will move to the fishing village of Fumba, in the western part of the island. There we will take a traditional sailing boat from the area, a dhow, which will take us to sail through Menai Bay. With a bit of luck, we might see dolphins. Our first stop will be snorkeling in the transparent turquoise waters, where we will see corals and abundant underwater fauna. At lunchtime we will leave for the island of Kwale, practically covered by a forest in which rare rock formations and large baobabs stand out, where a succulent grilled local seafood awaits us, accompanied by rice, potatoes and Tanzanian beer. To finish off the excursion we will bathe in an area of mangroves with turquoise waters surrounded by rocks of impossible shapes. In the afternoon we will return to Fumba and from there to our hotel, to rest from the busy day.
