At PhotoTravel we are expanding routes in our Photographic Trips to India. This time we are going on a Photo Tour Rajasthan, to the Camel Fair!! The land of the tale of the Arabian Nights, region of the Maharajas where majestic fortresses await us in a unique landscape. Land of dunes, caravan of camels towering over a vibrant culture, women adorned with glittering skirts and silver earrings contrasting with the colorful turbans and huge moustaches of the men, the Rajputs. Without a doubt, the photographic trip to Rajasthan has almost everything, if not everything, it will not leave you indifferent.
Departure by international flight to New Delhi, can be done from Madrid or any other city without any problem.
Early we leave our hotel for Bikaner on an internal flight, where we will visit the famous Karni Mata, or Temple of the Rats, which in India are sacred.
Jaisalmer founded in 1156 is located at the gates of the Thar desert, known as “The Golden City” for its beautiful sunsets that illuminate its magnificent fort.
After breakfast, today it is time to rest and enjoy a photographic camel ride through the Thar desert with the nomads of Rajasthan.
Early we left for Jodhpur, the blue city, founded in the fifteenth century was in the middle of the Coffee, silk, and opium route which led to the construction of temples and some interesting palaces.
The afternoon will be spent walking and photographing in the busy center of Jodhpur, we will sleep in a Haveli, a typical Rajasthan construction.
Today is one of the most intense days, today is the sacred city of Pushkar, where we will visit its Camel Fair Pushkar is one of the five that every pilgrim should visit. Bathed by a sacred lake where devotees perform their ablutions daily.
Today we will dedicate the whole day to enjoy the many shows at the Rajashthan Camel Fair.
After breakfast we took advantage of the morning to take our last snapshots of our Photo Tour of Rajasthan.
We return from our adventure through the wonderful India and its Camel Fair, a trip of those that mark.
