We can now get a visa on arrival in Myanmar
The Myanmar Ministry of Tourism announced that as of October 1, 2019, Spanish citizens will be able to apply for a visa on arrival at the international airports of Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw. Anyway if you want to save time
What do you need for the Myanmar online visa?
- The Passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival and two blank pages.
- A passport-style color photo in .jpg format weighing less than 2MB
- The price is $50 (for a 28-day stay)
1st STEP
The first thing you must do is access the official website of the Government of Myanmar.

Go to the tab: Apply Visa – New Application – Tourist Visa
2nd STEP
You fill in the form with the information requested and choose the airport of entry, you accept the terms and conditions requested by the Government of Myanmar and click on Continue and “I Agree”
3rd STEP
Fill in all the fields that are requested, be very careful not to put the name correctly as it is in the passport, any mistake we can have serious problems to take the plane or enter the country.
4TH STEP
After completing the fields, on the right margin we upload the photograph in “Upload Photo”
- In jpg format that does not weigh more than 2MB
- In color with a white background.
- From the front, without glasses and normal gesture.
5TH STEP
We confirm that all the fields are correct, if so Confirm, but if we see any errors we can correct them in Edit, and you will return to the previous page.
Once we have confirmed all the data we move on to payment
6TH STEP
We proceed to Payment, current price is $50 for a period of 28 days from when you enter the country.
We can choose the payment method that interests us the most : Visa/MasterCard/JBB or even PayPal.
7TH STEP
After completing the payment, you will be taken to the last tab of Completed, where if everything is correct you will receive “Payment Successful”
You will receive an email with the “Application” and “Payment” codes, anyway we always recommend that you copy them from the official website in case there is any problem
And in the next 48 hours you will receive your visa to the email you previously provided, you will have 90 days to enter.
