It’s time to return from Photographic Trip to Myanmar, one of the countries that has fascinated us the most, both for its photographic possibilities and for the friendliness of its people. In this 10th Edition our tour will focus on discovering some of the most fabulous corners of this wonderful country. A tour designed by PhotoTravel so that you can enjoy its wonderful cultural richness, where we will get lost in the monasteries of the most hidden Mandalay, we will visit the majestic Bagan, we will live the unique culture of Inle Lake and to finish we will enjoy touring the Shwedagon pagoda, in Yangon, one of the largest in the world. A unique country, a photographic journey not to forget…
…”It’s not my first photographic trip, although it is the first with PhotoTravel. It is the first but surely it will not be the last. The experience has been great at all levels: the trip and the great organization, Gonzalo has made us “live” (as his slogan says) Myanmar. On a photographic level, the experience has also been unbeatable. Whether you like travel photography or just like to travel, I highly recommend PhotoTravel’s photo trips without hesitation.” …

We will do it by Tuk Tuk (motorbike), although the more adventurous will be able to rent bicycles and travel through the place with greater autonomy. We will be on an excursion all day and at the end of the afternoon we will return by boat to Nyanung Shwe, to rest and watch the sunset at Myanmar beer, where some cold beers await us.
Night in Hotel. Bed and breakfast.
After breakfast, we take our tuk tuk (motorbike) again to travel the other side of Inle Lake. We will continue to visit small villages and monasteries bathed by the lake. We leave behind the wonderful Inle Lake and take a plane to Yangon, the largest city in Burma, the former capital of the country until 2005, when it was replaced by Naypyidaw. After staying at the hotel and a well-deserved rest, in the afternoon we will visit the great Shwedagon pagoda, where we can visit its impressive stupa, one of the oldest in the world, more than 100 meters high and covered with gold. Its surroundings are an ideal place to continue practicing photography.

“I have traveled this summer with PhotoTravel, it has been an unforgettable experience!!
Burma has surprised me a lot, almost virgin of tourists, it maintains a simplicity and still innocence of its people that make it very attractive. The temples, sunsets, the breathtaking scenery of Bagan… they are not easily forgotten.
Phototravel makes traveling in a group different, because it always seeks that point of authenticity and adventure of each place. Spectacular photos come out!!
The group is unbeatable, everything has flowed almost perfectly, with humor, good times and funny anecdotes. The extension to Cambodia does not leave anyone indifferent either.
Thank you Gonzalo, it has been special!
Without a doubt, I repeat with Phototravel :)”

“After traveling to India and Morocco with PhotoTravel, this year I had another great experience in the trip to Myanmar and Cambodia. I found it a trip that perfectly combines the life of cities like Bangkok with the tranquility of small towns, like the days we spent at Inle Lake.
I highlight the fact that we left the typical tourist circuits and got lost on the roads of Bagan with our motillos and toured small villages and pagodas with our bikes on Inle Lake. Amazing!
Photographically speaking it has surprised me for good.. combining landscape photography with snapshots of the rural life of this wonderful country.
100% recommendable trip!”

…”My name is Beatriz. I am 28 years old and I was very lucky enough to come across the Phototravel website one day on the internet, and attend the trip they make in Burma. What can we say about this experience? I fall short if I say that it has been the best trip of my life, and it is not that I travel little. Gonzalo (our tour leader), apart from being a close, fun and very attentive person at all times, has been the best guide I have ever met (apart from Win). It is not just a trip, nor photo shoots, the trip we take goes into the heart of each of the people of that country, its culture, customs, landscapes. We share experiences in monasteries, schools, temples. We travel in all types of transport (plane, plane, boat, motorcycle, tuctuc, motorcycle, bus, car). We tried all kinds of food. We got to know both the tourist part and the real life of that country. Gonzalo, teaches you how to blend in and go unnoticed among all those people who exude joy, affection, kindness and humility. Without a doubt, and if possible, I will repeat later in some other one that I organize.” …

…”First trip with PhotoTravel and the experience couldn’t be better. I have traveled a lot with other organizations and I can say that in this one I have found professionalism, relaxed atmosphere, knowledge of the places to visit, exclusive itineraries, freedom and respect for people and the environment.
I will return, God willing, to other destinations with Gonzalo”…

…”I have been traveling on my own for many years and problems of greater or lesser importance always arose. Since I started traveling with PhotoTravel, I have forgotten about the problems and focus only on enjoying the trip intensely. I have found the best way to travel, touring the essence of the countries, living with their inhabitants and with the peace of mind that behind it is one of the best travel agencies that there is today. Without a doubt, highly recommended.” …
