Pakistan has definitely conquered us. We have explored the north of the country and we have been enchanted not only by its incredible landscapes and fascinating culture, but also by the friendliness of its people.
PhotoTravel wants to share with you a new adventure in this attractive and exciting Central Asian country. This time we want to explore the southern part of Pakistan, an area that fluctuates between the natural beauty of the deserts and the banks of the Indus River.
International flight to Karachi, Pakistan
Arrival at Karachi airport, transfer to the hotel. After resting, we visit the city of Karachi, the largest in Pakistan. We will spend the rest of the day photographing some of its markets and bazaars and visiting the Quaid-i-Azam mausoleum, built in honor of the founder of Pakistan. We will end the day photographing the sunset from Clifton Beach.

We leave after breakfast for Sehwan Sharif, on the way we will stop at Thatta, where we can visit the Shah Jahan mosque and the Maklicropolis Necropolis presents several large funerary monuments belonging to royalty. The site was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981 as an “outstanding testimony” of Sindhi civilization between the 14th and 18th centuries. On arrival in Sehwam we can visit the Shahabaz Tomb and the Bazaar.

After breakfast we approach Lake Manchar, on the Indus River, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia. It will be a good time to photograph the fishermen at work. We continue by car to Mohenjo-Daro, an archaeological site dating back to 2500 BC. Together with Harappa, they are two of the most important archaeological sites of the Indus civilization. Mohenjo-Daro was one of the largest cities of antiquity. After the visit, we continue the journey to Sukkur.

Soon, in the morning, we will take the highway to the city of Uch Sharif, where we will visit the Tombs of Bibi Jawindi, Baha’al-Halim and Jalaluddin Bukhari, a 15th-century sanctuary that is a World Heritage Site.
We will continue our route to Multan, a city on the banks of the Indus River, where we will visit several mausoleums, the gates of Haram and Delhi, the Shahi Eid Gah mosque and the Hussain Agahi market.

Today we will dedicate the whole day to photographing all the corners that Multan hides, a paradise for photographers.

Our route takes us today to the town of Lahore. On the way, we will visit the Harappan archaeological site, a city of the ancient Indus civilization (between 2500 and 1700 BC). Upon arrival in Lahore we will settle in the hotel, and after a break, we will go to dinner at one of the venues that offer the wonderful views of the Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort.

After breakfast we will leave to visit the city of Lahore, considered the cultural, intellectual and artistic center of Pakistan. We will visit various locations of interest, such as the Lahore Fort, the Badshahi Mosque (one of the largest in the world), the Wazir Khan Mosque, the Minar-e-Pakistan Tower and several other tourist attractions.

We leave Lahore behind to head to Peshawar, one of the most impressive cities in Pakistan, where its streets are full of life.
